Position Title: Trading Application Support
Location: Chicago
Department: IT Operations
Position Summary
Support existing trading systems for internal and external customers in a fast-paced growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and maintain user logins and account configurations within WEX systems.
- Provide 1st level support to all trading application users; respond to support requests via phone, email and IMs
- Work with vendors (Exchanges, ECNs, etc.) to resolve production issues
- Work with developers to improve software and troubleshoot problems
- Maintain documentation of support processes, ongoing technical issues, and workarounds
- Assist with resolving clearing issues
- Work on special projects as necessary
Qualifications
- Must have proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Must have excellent customer support and communication skills
- Must have an understanding of trading industry concepts and terminology
- A working knowledge of finance industry clearing is a plus
- Troubleshooting experience in financial trading applications, similar to Reuters, TT, PATS, Bloomberg, and GL Trade is a plus.
- Proficiency with the Windows operating system is a plus
- Self-motivated, energetic and results-orientated
- 2-3 years of Financial Services experience is preferred
