Cybersecurity Technical Lead
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Cybersecurity Team Leader to lead strategic cybersecurity initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Infrastructure & Network Security, cloud security, and application security, along with a broad background in IT operations and application development.
This role requires a visionary leader who can drive cross-functional collaboration, manage complex security projects, and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from planning through execution and delivery.
- Develop and implement security strategies for networks, cloud environments, and applications.
- Oversee incident response efforts and ensure timely resolution of security breaches.
- Collaborate with IT operations, infrastructure, and development teams to integrate security best practices.
- Design and enforce network segmentation policies to enhance security posture.
- Utilize tools like ServiceNow and Azure DevOps for workflow automation, ticketing, and project tracking.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cybersecurity team members.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
What You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity and IT domains.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Technical background in:
- Application Security
- Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Infrastructure & Network Security
- Experience using ServiceNow and Azure DevOps or similar ticketing tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Preferred Industry Certifications:
- CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- PMP - Project Management Professional (or equivalent)
- Any GIAC Cybersecurity Certifications such as GSEC, GCLD, GCCC, GISF, GISP, etc.
Planning: Tactical, Strategic:
- Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Communicating Complex Concepts:
- Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, plain language appropriate to the audience.
Consulting:
- Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.
Cybersecurity Standards and Policies:
- Knowledge of developing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures; ability to develop and communicate policies, standards and procedures that guide interactions with customers.
Cybersecurity Risk Management:
- Knowledge of tools, techniques, approaches, and processes of cybersecurity risk management; ability to ensure organizational network operation and minimize negative effect by cybersecurity risks.
Information Security Technologies:
- Knowledge of technologies and technology-based solutions dealing with information security issues; ability to protect information security across the organization using encryption technologies and appropriate security software.
