The Position:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Intern to join our Operations team for the summer. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work with data and contribute to strategic decision-making by building dashboards and generating custom reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple Operations teams to understand data needs and reporting requirements.
- Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making.
- Create and maintain ad hoc reports using tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Salesforce.
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources including Snowflake.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.
- Assist in identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience building dashboards and custom reports.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Snowflake, Tableau, Excel
- Experience with Python/R and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Veracyte is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
