RSM US LLP is looking to add a dynamic Data Analytic Manager for Travel to our Strategic Sourcing team within our Finance organization. This role focuses on using advanced data analytics to optimize corporate travel operations.  The role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting travel-related data for the firm’s global travel program. This role provides actionable insights to reduce costs, improve compliance, and enhance traveler experience through data-driven decision-making.

NOTE: This is a remote eligible position - candidate may sit anywhere within the United States

Responsibilities

  • Analytics & Insights
    • Oversees analysis of travel spend, booking patterns, and compliance trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive improved policy adherence.
  • Data Management & Integration
    • Manages the collection, validation, and consolidation of travel data from booking tools, expense systems, and vendor reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reporting & Visualization
    • Leads the development of dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and Excel, presenting actionable insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Forecasting & Performance Monitoring
    • Reviews and forecasts travel budgets, tracks KPIs, and evaluates vendor performance using data driven metrics to optimize program effectiveness.
  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
    • Directs automation of reporting tasks, streamlines workflows, and recommends enhancements to travel policies and operations based on comprehensive data insights.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, Hospitality, or Travel Management (with strong analytical focus) – Required
  • Master’s Degree – Preferred

Experience

  • 3-5 years working with travel-related analytics – Required
  • Experience improving processes and automating reports – Required

Technical Skills

  • Strong skills in Excel for organizing and analyzing data – Required
  • Ability to pull data from databases and organize it for analysis using simple query tools- Required
  • Experience creating easy-to-understand charts and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau - Required
  • Familiarity with travel booking and expense tracking systems – Required
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking – Required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy – Required
  • Clear communication and ability to explain data to others -Required
  • Teamwork and working well with different departments -Required

Leadership Skills

  • Superior oral and written communication skills – Required
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and with vendors – Required
  • Exceptional listening skills - Required

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $111,200 - $190,300

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
