About the team

Stripe’s GTM Planning & Central Operations team partners with Sales Leadership, Finance, Product, Local Sales Strategy and Operations, Data Engineering to build operational processes, tools, policies, data required to bring our GTM strategy to life.  We bring expertise, rigorous thinking, and a user-first approach to problem solving. We transform, improve and support global Stripe business processes to drive critical initiatives and other cross-functional business priorities for the sales planning cycle.

What you’ll do

Build and lead a team of FTE and outsourced Sales Operations experts with an aim to improve our customer data processes. You will partner with GTM leadership (CMO, CRO, Head of GTM Operations) to understand the gaps and address those through processes, policies and workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Understand root cause process gaps that degrade data hygiene
  • Running Executive-level SteerCo on a regular cadence
  • Develop a Data Quality roadmap to address various customer data challenges
  • Align on prioritization with leadership, Data Engineering and Systems teams
  • Influence implementation and enablement of process, systems and tools
  • Create an outsourcing strategy for always-on data clean-up
  • Manage contractors as part of the outsourcing strategy to scale data quality initiatives, reporting, process, and analytics
  • Define and measure metrics for success
  • Develop dashboards highlighting progress along the identified metrics
  • Communicate progress to Stripe leadership and leverage them to influence and unblock
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements
  • Has 11+ years of sales, strategy and operations experience in a high-tech growth environment, or operational experience in management consulting
  • Able to own the problem, investigate its root causes and ensure execution
  • Can work across multiple stakeholders and elevate for leadership
  • Experience with influencing executive leaders and running executive-level meetings
  • Has an enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality. Willing to do IC work along with leading
  • Has strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving unique business problems
  • Works well with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, often ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience managing outsourced services
  • Proficiency in SQL and other advanced analytics tools
  • Proficiency in BI visualization tools (eg Tableau)
  • Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/software company
  • Prior experience in the SaaS and/or payments industry
