Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong Data Quality (DQ) expertise to join us. The successful candidate will initially focus on data quality initiatives and will gradually transition into supporting the DRR decommissioning (demise) process. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on data manipulation experience, and the ability to work with complex datasets across multiple sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Data Quality (DQ) initiatives within the Credit domain.

  • Analyze, understand, and assess large and complex datasets to identify data quality issues and opportunities for improvement.

  • Perform data extraction, transformation, joining, and manipulation activities to support business and regulatory requirements.

  • Contribute to the DRR decommissioning process, ensuring data integrity and continuity throughout the transition.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technology teams to define and implement data solutions.

  • Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis activities.

  • Document data flows, data quality controls, and analytical findings.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in Data Quality and data analysis roles.

  • Proven ability to understand, join, transform, and manipulate datasets from multiple sources.

  • Advanced SQL and data querying skills.

  • Hands-on experience with Python, particularly using Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis and exploration.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Experience working within financial services, banking, or credit-related domains is highly desirable.

  • Ability to communicate technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Prophecy would be advantageous.

  • Exposure to data migration, application decommissioning, or system retirement projects.

  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

Candidate Profile
  • Strong Data Quality practitioner with a data-focused mindset.

  • Comfortable working independently and managing complex analytical tasks.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.

  • Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable in a changing project environment.
