The Role

As lead of our Data Quality Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our systematic trading operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial mind that wants to build and grow a team that operates at the core of our trading operations. You will have the ability to play an active part in defining the global direction and focus for our data operations.
You will lead a team of analysts that takes ownership of historical and live data used for trading decisions. In that capacity, you will closely interact with both trading operations and our technical teams to implement processes and technical solutions that ensure the quality of requisite data sets. The processes and solutions should allow us to identify, flag, and correct anomalies.
Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage technical strategy to monitor, identify, and correct data issues.
  • Together with trading and research teams, define and align performance metrics for data quality and processes for data quality control.
  • Build, train, and lead a team of data quality analysts.
  • Interact with users to understand dependencies between data sets as well as the severity of data quality issues.
  • Organize responsibilities in the team to guarantee accurate and timely responses to data quality issues in historical or live data sets.


Your Skills and Experience:

  • At least 7 years of experience in data quality analysis and data management
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in Python and SQL
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams is preferred
  • Successfully managed projects related to data or software
  • Strong communication, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy and integrity
