The Role


 

Key Responsibilities:

Data Scientists for Chicago, IL. Design and implement AI models tailored to auto insurance with a focus on cost prediction, impact dynamics, and consumer-facing chatbots. Translate research models into production level code, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and product managers, to integrate AI models into our product suite. Utilize TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI frameworks for model development and training. Leverage in-house and cloud computing platforms to deploy and scale models efficiently. Conduct model validation to continuously improve model performance. Stay abreast of the latest AI research and technologies, applying new findings to our work. Document and communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Technical Environment: AI model development; AI and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch); cloud computing services (AWS) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker); machine learning algorithms (including, but not limited to, deep neural networks and large language models) and their applications; solving computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and traditional machine learning problems; Python; SQL; analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information; knowledge of auto insurance industry.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. Required Skills: Education/experience with: AI model development; AI and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch); cloud computing services (AWS) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker); machine learning algorithms (including, but not limited to, deep neural networks and large language models) and their applications; solving computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and traditional machine learning problems; Python; SQL; analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information; knowledge of auto insurance industry. Some telecommuting permitted.

Salary: $93,974-$121,956.
