KATBOTZ are looking for an experienced Data SME (Subject Matter Expert) to support enterprise data initiatives and provide strategic guidance on data management, analytics, reporting, and modern data solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in data architecture, data governance, data quality, and business intelligence while working closely with technical and business stakeholders across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for enterprise data platforms, processes, and reporting solutions.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

  • Design and optimize data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and reporting frameworks.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, governance, and compliance standards are maintained.

  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to improve data accessibility and usability.

  • Support data migration, integration, cleansing, and transformation initiatives.

  • Create documentation, process flows, and best practices for data operations.

  • Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and performance bottlenecks.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve data strategy and operational efficiency.

  • Mentor team members and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering.

  • Strong expertise in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools.

  • Experience working with large-scale data environments and cloud platforms.

  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration methodologies.

  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and modern data architecture.

  • Experience with tools/platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Google GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

  • Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for data processing.

  • Experience supporting global clients and distributed teams.

  • Relevant certifications in cloud or data technologies are a plus.
