We're looking for an Associate of Clinical Data Learning & Development who is passionate about changing the status quo and bringing cancer care into the 21st century.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage day-to-day operations of training programs, processes and workflows for proficiency and mastery of new subtypes for quality and effectiveness of curation; make recommendations for improvement
- Closely coordinate with the Clinical Data Leader & Development Manager to develop content including gold standard cases, continuing education presentations related to findings from QA analysis and monthly all-team audits
- Facilitate the onsite training program for newly hired Jr. Clinical Data Abstractors
- Manage training schedule, coordinate cohort logistics across multiple locations, and manage new hires through duration of 6-week training program
- Design and prepare educational aids and materials
- Influence product design to support development of training to support asynchronous real-time feedback
- Oversee technical implementation of training events for primary and additional subtypes
- Partner with Clinical Data Learning & Development Manager and Clinical Data QA Manager to identify areas for improvement in program offerings
- Closely collaborate with Offshore Manager and Clinical Data Learning & Development Manager to implement, coordinate, and help lead offshore training sessions
Qualifications:
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally to develop content for the Clinical Data Abstraction team
- Strong communication skills and ability to drive a consistent, repeatable message
- Ability to teach in an agile and expanding environment with varying degrees of complexity and adapt processes to support Tempus’ ever-evolving abstraction needs
- Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects and prioritize daily tasks while managing critical deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of oncology, hematology, chemotherapeutics and targeted agents
- Superior listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a very high level of confidentiality
- Possess a very positive attitude and an understanding of the dynamics involved with organizational growth and change
- Exceptional ability to deliver feedback and foster growth
- Impeccable written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Must be very proficient with all Microsoft Office products – particularly Excel and PowerPoint (and corresponding GoogleSuite of tools)
- Effective and regular utilization of Tableau
- Ability to develop and utilize cross-functional relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and objectives
- Ability to work effectively with minimal direction from, or interface with, manager
- Problem solving, decision making and technical learning
- Advanced written and oral communication skills
- Strong administrative skills and sophistication to manage business in complex environments
