Department OverviewAs part of the Global ISO Operations and Quality Organization, the ISO team is responsible for driving the Global Integrated Management System for MSI. This role is responsible for the global 27001 & 27701 certificates in the US for the Radio and Video Organizations. This role will also support an integrated management for those organizations for our other certification for 9001, 20000, 14001, 45001.
Working closely with the leaders in the NALA region the person will drive the Integrated Quality Management System and will develop and govern them to ensure optimal performance through an internal audit plan with corrective action process for findings and deployment of best practices.
Candidate must develop knowledge of the overall MSI Business for Land Mobile Radio, Video, Servies, and Software Enterprise businesses as well as significant experience using continuous improvement tools and practices.

The Auditor, Data Protection Compliance serves in a key role in performing audits of products offered by MSI. Information gathered will be used to drive compliance, and to prepare for and complete audits in support of necessary ISO 27001, 27017, 27018 and 27701, SOC2, Type 2 and other audit, and data protection certification activities. These activities will help to support the goals of the global data protection program and multiple business units at Motorola Solutions, Inc. (“MSI”). This position will report to the Director, Data Protection Compliance. The role will interface with numerous departments within MSI such as Enterprise IT, security and product teams to gather information which will be used to help ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and the protection of company and third party data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and coordinates ISO 27000 series, SOC2 and other internal audit and certifications activities with respect to products and services offered by MSI.
Monitors and audits established mechanisms and controls to ensure compliance with designated regulations
Prepares and submits reports on the results of audits, recommending improvements in policies and procedures
Supports the daily activities associated with implementation of the Global Data Protection Compliance - Products (GDPO-P) data protection compliance program.
Assists in the maintenance of comprehensive records of all data processing activities conducted by the Products and Video Solutions organizations which may be requested by regulators.
Assist in gathering new engineering and product data used to ensure ongoing compliance with privacy and data protection policies and applicable laws.
Perform other auditing, data protection and privacy relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Ten (10) years of related work experience, which includes two (2) years of practical experience in audit activities
CISA or CISM certification preferred
Must be willing to achieve ISO 27001 Internal Auditor certification within 6 months of hire if not currently certified.
Must possess a strong technical aptitude and be able to effectively communicate with technology professionals; data analysis skills required
Must have a working knowledge of auditing principles and risk assessment processes, privacy and data protection laws, regulations and best practices
Experience with compliance issues and standards at all levels (local, state, federal and international) and familiarity with industry-specific regimes e.g. SOC, ISO 27000 series (27001, 27017, 27018, 27701) SOC2 NIST, PCI, GDPR, etc. Familiarity with other ISO standards is helpful.

Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Information Security or other engineering related field preferred - High School Diploma or GED required
