Business Analyst, ERP
The Role
We are looking for an exceptionally motivated Microsoft Dynamics SCM ERP Business Analyst to be part of a highly visible, strategic team focused on aligning strategic objectives with tactical demands. This role will be responsible for the business aspects of implementation, rollout, and support of MS Dynamics Supply Chain Management suite.
This role will collaborate with the MS Dynamics technology configuration team to ensure that the solution is configured based on evolving business needs. This individual will be accountable for the business process mapping for the new solution, and assist in implementation activities namely: data conversion, user role & security configuration, and rollout of the solution to Green Thumb’s cultivation centers located across the US. The rollout will require understanding the configured base product and knowledge to identify / define configuration needs over the base configuration to align with the specific site needs. This will be driven primarily by the global template prepared by the technical configuration team as the base.
The role is located at Green Thumb’s corporate office in Chicago supporting locations across the US. This is an extremely unique and “greenfield” opportunity to join a fast-paced organization and build an excellence center, with clear and tangible impact on the future of Green Thumb’s position in this business domain.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the solution definition workshops and collaborate with Green Thumb’s various subject matter experts for business operations, and the MS Dynamics technical configuration team to prepare the overall business process for the newly to be configured solution.
- Work with the Green Thumb business and IT teams to collate existing legacy data that needs to be converted and uploaded to the new solution, and collaborate with the functional and IT teams to convert this available data into formats and content as required for the new solution. This includes current open data and historical data, where available and all master data needed.
- Participate in the business requirements and configuration workshops and familiarize / learn the business process, and the related solution configurations for the global template to be used for rollout of the solution to all sites.
- Work closely with Green Thumb’s configuration team while implementing the initial corporate site and learn the GTI implementation process.
- Participate and conduct user acceptance testing, when required, and guide the user base in creating test scripts and other solution artifacts.
- Train the business user group on use of the new solution as per the documented business process and configured solution.
- Provide project management oversight for the rollout of the solution to Green Thumb’s sites as planned providing planning & execution support, as well as facilitating any data conversions needed, as well as any configuration changes specific to the site, and user access roles.
- Provide day-to-day functional support to the user group to resolve issues, provide clarifications, escalate to service / solution provider as needed, and be the initial point of contact, while taking ownership of the solution at Green Thumb
- Responsible to maintain all aspects of the ERP system from a business use standpoint, which includes but not limited to facilitating system configuration, master data management and any related ad-hoc activities.
- Effectively participate in all stages of the ERP software configuration & implementation lifecycle, followed by day-to-day functional support
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree with specialization in computer sciences or equivalent technology
- 5 years of progressive experience in MS Dynamics Supply Chain Management product implementation and support activities.
- Advanced understanding of CPG retail, wholesale, and supply chain functions, and processes
- Advanced business process analysis and mapping skills with excellent documentation skills is required.
- Project management skills is required.
- Self-starter with high motivation and passion to thrive & adopt in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to assess and understand details of work product(s) or related business information
- Customer-oriented, ability to self-manage and take ownership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven experience facilitating large stakeholder meetings

- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools like Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams
- Possesses a high level of critical thinking
- Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
- Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb
- Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
