Job Description
McDonald’s is taking our business beyond the walls of restaurants - revolutionizing how we collaborate with our customers. We are providing customers with enticing mobile, web, and kiosk solutions on the scale of industry leading retailers like Amazon and eBay. Technology is critical to our digital strategy – a priority for McDonald’s. The Data and Analytics Hub is looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst (BA) to play a part in bringing McDonald’s data transformation to life.
You will partner with the Director of Strategy & Planning, as well as key leaders across the McDonald’s organization, on the strategic development and mobilization efforts in support of McDonald’s Global Data Analytics Hub. The ideal candidate will perform external market intelligence to identify strategic issues and recommend strategic opportunities. You will work with cost and quantitative modeling resources on development, maintenance and monitoring of complex business models. You will provide executive communications and analysis to McDonald’s leaders regarding status of all large and strategic initiatives and efforts, and aid key business partners on resolving conflicts and or potential risks.
Responsibilities :
In this role you will be responsible for research, executive reporting and annual planning to evolve the impact and value of McDonald’s Global Data Analytics Hub organization.

Executive Reporting & Communications
- Draft high impact presentations for routine and ad hoc leadership sessions, internally and externally leaders and clients.
- Assist with development of communications (e.g., presentations, email, etc.,) to circulate strategy across multiple lines of business
- Assist with dashboard development for initiative and value tracking for all Global uses cases.
- Lead and maintain multi-functional team partners and monthly stakeholder meeting
- Work across the organization to source key information for executive presentations.
Structural Support
- Establish and maintain secure and public team sites (e.g., SharePoint, Clarizen, JIRA, Wave).
- Support maintenance of key templates and tools.
- Maintenance of team highlights and insights reporting.
Research & Strategic/Annual Planning
- Assist with structuring and content development for the planning for the Data Hub, with a particular focus on key strategic initiatives for McDonalds as part of the 2020+ Roadmap.
- Provide targeted support for the Global Data Analytics Hub long-range strategic planning process, including working with leaders to improve strategic agendas.
- Perform meaningful internal and external research and intelligence gathering
- You will collaborate with the Director of Strategy & Planning and other team members to focus on strategic issues and opportunities and develop fact and quantitatively backed recommendations.
- Monitor and report performance relative to plan and strategic alignment.
- Partner with businesses on broad strategic initiatives to resolve integration points/interdependencies and how each integrates with the overall vision/end-state transformation.
- Support special projects, which impact the entire organization and/or key business-unit partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in business administration, strategy, , operations research or related fields. Advanced degree a plus.
- 3+ years of experience and technical and functional expertise in one or several of the following areas: management consulting, financial analysis, operations and/or communications.
- Consistent ability to influence seniors and peers without direct authority; experience leading multi-functional initiatives with multiple partners.
- Experience developing analyses, presentations and support material to convey complex and abstract concepts, enable successful implementation of strategy or change initiatives.
- Advanced problem solving, analytical, oral and written communication, and presentation skills; advanced MS Office skills.
- Ambitious, detail oriented individual who actively works to remove barriers to achieving results.
- Ability to work in a global dynamic and agile environment
- Adapts to changes in priorities with ease, comfortable working “in the gray” while defining the way forward.
- Management consulting experience preferred.
- Consumer products experience preferred.
