Job Summary
This position sits within the Mobile Engagement Consulting & Insights (MCI) function of the Customer Success team to provide analytics services and data-driven strategic mobile marketing guidance to internal teams and external customers. This role reports directly into the Director of Mobile Consulting and Insights, and is a customer-facing role.
This position largely involves partnering with the MCI Director and Customer Strategy team to develop mobile marketing strategies, define measurement plans and campaign reports, and design and execute custom analyses, contributing significantly to defining the overall direction, goals, and objectives of the MCI function.
Primary Responsibilities
- Extrapolate different data or data sets within a SaaS-based mobile engagement Platform to bring forth observations and metrics that reveal leading performance indicators across all of Vibes’ customers
- Build standardized reports that make data of mobile engagement campaigns easier for stakeholders to access
- Participate in data exploration and generating and presenting of actionable, data-driven insights, findings and recommendations
- Support MCI Director to:
- Establish an overall approach to data and measurement strategy for customers, inclusive of construction and maintenance of measurement frameworks, benchmarks & KPIs, and test & measurement solutions for Vibes’ customers
- Create and implement learning agendas for driving value realization
- Collaborate with team members to understand reporting requirements and data needs
- Provide input into strategic plans that take into consideration how mobile will fit into the broader marketing mix for a customer
- Create and maintain industry-verticalized mobile engagement benchmarks
- Gather and monitor other digital channel benchmarks (e.g. email, social, etc.) for comparison
- Ensure Vibes meets or exceeds customer expectations on both deliverable milestones and quality of deliverable itself
- Collaborate as part of a team to drive analyses and insights that lead to more informed decisions and improved business performance
- Support new business pitches and/or RFPs where needed
Qualifications
Experience
- 3-5years relevant experience with advertising effectiveness, large marketing-related organizations and/or measurement suppliers
- Managed analytic engagements for digital, social and / or CRM marketing activities for enterprise customers
- Designed campaign measurement and reporting strategies, defined KPIs across digital, social, or CRM
- Use of multivariate statistical techniques and Machine Learning models to enhance understanding of consumer behavior or campaign impact
- Familiar withA/B Testing, Customer Lifetime Value, Marketing Mix Analysis, Unified Measurement (e.g. Digital Media Analysis), Multi-Touch Attribution, Clustering, Regression and other test & learn methodologies
- Experience with enterprise brands' marketing technology stacks
- Ability to synthesize data sets for storytelling for different audiences
- Knowledge of full-funnel strategy; synergy between brand and demand media
Skills
- Proficient with common ROI, attribution, and cross channel measurement approaches
- Comfortable mining customer-provided and/or 1stparty data for insights to inform analytic and strategic recommendations to senior marketers at Fortune 500 companies
- Proficient in most of the following systems & tools:
- Data visualization / BI tools: MicroStrategy, Tableau
- Microsoft Office (Excel,PowerPoint)
- Web analytics and campaign management platforms: Adobe Campaign/Analytics, IBM Unica/Coremetrics
- Cross-Channel Reach/Frequency Measurement Platforms
- ComScore, Nielsen
- SQL, R and Python are a plus, but not required
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to explain technical analyses to a non-technical audience
- An understanding of how to use data to solve complex business questions and drive business solutions
- Ability to partner & earn trust with customer stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills internally and externally
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing projects and deliverables
