Apex Fintech Solutions in currently looking for a Corporate Development Analyst.
Primary responsibilities:
- Enhance Apex's growth strategythrough the identification, assessment, & execution of potential M&A, investments, & joint ventures
- Engagein firm-wide strategic projects & initiatives to help define the future of Apex
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends and industry dynamics
- Evaluate & trackpotential corporate development opportunitiesthrough providing strategic due diligence, financial statement analyses, and financial modeling
- Develop valuation and return analyses based on comparable companies, precedent transactions, and sum-of-the-parts methodologies
- Prepare memorandums, presentations, & comprehensive financial analyses for Apex's senior management
- Monitor existing corporate development investments & initiatives
- Support due diligence processes by liaising with subject matter experts from across Apex's business units and functional areas (e.g. legal, tax, finance, etc.)
- Assist with project management and the coordination & development of work plans, deliverables, & activities
- Maintain Corporate Development & Portfolio reports, information dashboards, & other resources
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- College degree in related field preferred
- 0-2 years transferable work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint within a business and financial modeling context
- Strong analytical skills, including an understanding of financial, valuation, broad quantitative analyses, accounting and key operational metrics
- Excellent project management skills, including the capability to organize and deliver several concurrent projects within explicit timelines
- Ability to think strategically and solve problems
- Robust track record of independent work and leadership ability
- An analytical mind, willing to continually dig deeper on everything put in front of you
- Excellent informal and formal written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to engage with people across all levels of Apex, including senior business leaders
- Strong desire to work within our industry
Apex currently requires all employees as a condition of employment to either be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or submit to regular testing. The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. Apex will also require proof of vaccination and/or testing.
