Data Operations Specialist

With the advent of genomic sequencing, we can finally decode and process our genetic makeup. We now have more data than ever before but providers don't have the infrastructure or expertise to make sense of this data. We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic data is used in clinical settings.
We are looking for a Data Operations Specialist who will guide our data upload & QA processes of molecular and clinical data prior to delivery to our partners.
Responsibilities
Generate customer delivery buckets & username/passwords and communicate these to internal stakeholders
Ensure all molecular data are in the expected source locations so cross-functional teams are able to pull and complete downstream processes
Kickoff patient record de-identification process when patient cohorts are generated and file completeness/availability is confirmed
Meet with Engineering & Product teams to ensure the data delivery standard is captured and upheld in current scripts, and that appropriate source data links are maintained
Oversee & monitor the automated upload of molecular data to customer buckets promptly after sequencing
Ensure manual and programmatic QA of customer buckets, ensuring structure/architecture, accuracy, and completeness
Capture that appropriate molecular data has been uploaded in internal tracking tools for posterity
Troubleshoot data integrity issues as they arise (e.g., locate missing files, track down incomplete or unavailable information) with relevant internal stakeholders (i.e. Bioinformatics, TechOps, Lab team)
Based on specific customer needs, manually upload data to customer buckets
Generate & maintain manifests of the files present in each customer bucket
Pull data deliverables (i.e. structured clinical tables & queries based on report object) for internal stakeholders to deliver to customers
Deliver clinical reports from our portal to customer buckets
Required Knowledge and Skills
1-3 years experience with data processing, analytics and/or data operations
Strong SQL skills
Data warehousing experience
Experience developing and maintaining operational processes
Experience working with various cross-functional teams, including customer-facing teams
Exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills
Detective-like ability to solve multi-faceted problems
Highly organized and systematic, superb attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Proven initiative and ability to work as part of a high-level team while working independently on mission-critical tasks
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Experience in the healthcare industry or working with molecular data is a plus
Experience with Python or similar scripting a plus
