Role Description

This role is responsible for improving the productivity and effectiveness of colleagues across the organization by developing enhancements to our Data Update ETL tool and working with development to implement those enhancements as well as identify solutions to defects to this product.  This role will handle the identification of data transformation packages that can be standardized and consolidated.  This role would improve the deployment process of standard data conversion packages (known sources) which would improve service utilization and speed up implementation timelines.  This person would be responsible for ensuring the data conversion tool stays in sync with the overall software enhancements.  This person would identify other areas in the product where data transformation tools would be beneficial.  The person in this role is expected to perform duties with a high degree of independence, initiative and judgment and partner effectively across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creation of long-term strategic goals for data transformation product
• Drive the design and implementation of data transformation solutions that improve colleague effectiveness, assure high levels of client satisfaction and drive business outcomes
• Proactive collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify product gaps, deliver solutions and measure for impact
• Actively participate in strategic planning for data transformation tools to increase colleague capabilities and drive utilization
• Maintain the library of standard data transformation tools in partnership with the Origami Data Resources

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or relevant field of study
• At least 5 years of data transformation experience
• Knowledge of ETL technologies, SQL Server, and SSIS
• Passionate about learning and utilizing new technologies to design and deliver effective solutions
• Ability to think from both a strategic and tactical perspective
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and make critical business decisions effectively
• Demonstrated project management skills including multi-tasking across projects and teams
• Excellent analytical, organization and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus and collaborate across the organization

• Proactive, self-motivated with ability to drive for results
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Risk and insurance industry experience a plus
