Provi is looking for a Digital Inventory Analyst to accelerate the ingestion, enrichment, and expansion of our data catalog. 

What you’ll be doing

• Pull statistically significant data samples to help us evaluate the accuracy of our database and strategize improvement plans

• Independently interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data analysis to complex data mining

• Leverage programming languages (python, SQL, etc.) to efficiently integrate third-party data. Analyze distributor and product attributes to identify potential areas of automation for data matching and enrichment

• Use Python (or other script language) libraries to perform fuzzy matches on external data

• Support execution on manual ad-hoc matching projects as needed

• Collaborate with Product & Engineering to improve tools and data feed ingestion

What we are looking for

• 2-5+ years of experience in data analytics, mining, and/or science 

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel and willingness to hone and acquire further technical skills to advance team objectives

• Tireless pursuit of efficiency without sacrificing quality

• Experience working independently and self-managing projects to deliver results

• Chicago based, but open to remote for the right candidate
