We are seeking Director - Strategy and Planning for our Global Technology Strategy & Planning organization. We are a global technology leader that continues to grow and leads with a technology first mindset. You will have the opportunity to help the organizations transform our global technology capabilities and help solve critical challenges to drive revenue, reduce costs and bring leading technologies into Transunion.

This leadership position is responsible for delivering a comprehensive and continuously updated strategy that encompasses a view of the competitive landscape, the advancements of technology outside of Transunion and how we can/ should leverage new emerging technologies while evaluating and developing Transunion’s Global Technology Platform strategy. This role will define, execute and enhance the Global Technology Platform 3 year plan, drive the GT Platform Global Operating Model and drive financial planning and governance. The role also has responsibility to provide executive-level communication and analysis regarding financial performance and release of funds for future work and ongoing administrative management such as facilitating leadership meetings.

What You'll Bring

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related technology program management and strategic planning experience

Must be comfortable analyzing financials, with strong project management skills, problem solving, and business acumen. Attention to detail and high accuracy are critical.

Familiarity with TU Agile process and Financial Management process is a plus.

Must have high proficiency in business case development and strategy development

Demonstrated ability to handle any situation with confidence and conviction along with experience in successfully navigating and operating within a matrixed organization.

Ability to identify, recommend and solve organization problems using technology. Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, AI and ML, Cloud a plus.

Ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic team in a rapidly changing environment. 

Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience in providing crisp, insightful information to senior leadership teams 

Ability to communicate and influence individuals in a range of settings, including presenting to groups and building support for the execution of new strategies, initiatives and approaches. 

Impact You'll Make

The Director will be a self-driven, strategic leader who has experience in strategic planning, project management and communications along with strong financial acumen.

Lead the strategic planning process for Global Technology, with a focus on key strategic initiatives for TU’s Global Technology Platform as part of overall organizational strategy.

Work closely with the Global CIOs, Global Technology SVP Strategy, and other Global Technology leaders across all our global regions to develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization

Create and manage long term goals and short time milestones and develop budget and operating plans for the programs

Work with strategic partners across all global regions to define and implement the Operating Model for Global Technology Platforms

Define and Implement Metrics to measure and continuously improve development and delivery processes within the Agile and continuous delivery frameworks.

Provide executive communications and analysis regarding status of all large initiatives, working to resolve conflicts or potential risks.

Partner with Finance and other areas to forecast investment needs, prepare performance reports and dashboards.

Analyze strategic opportunities to leverage leading technologies, implement and develop robust strategies and business plans to position the company beyond its current operational plans
