What You'll Bring
Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science or a related discipline
5+ years of database/application development in an enterprise environment
3+ years’ experience with big data technologies in the Hadoop ecosystem, such as MapReduce, Spark, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Oozie, Pig, etc.
Proven background in Distributed Computing, Data Warehousing, ETL development, and large scale data processing.
We’d Love to See:
Experience writing production code in Java or Scala
Healthcare experience highly preferred
Fluent in SQL, stored procedures, query performance tuning
Extensive experience in Python and Bash Shell Scripting
Broad knowledge of software development – including software architecture, functional and non-functional aspects, CI/CD, principles and tools.

Participate in development and oversee maintenance of code to ensure consistency, quality, best practices and performance of applications.
