Job Description
One of our biggest areas of focus has been technology, which is helping to drive our growth. We are collecting ever-increasing volumes of data and believe with the right know-how and technology, we can use this data to create value for our business. The Data Analytics Hub was created as a global center of excellence, whose goal is to power and scale the use of data and data science across the system to drive significant business outcomes. The Data Analytics Hub aims to do this by elevating impact from our analytics uses cases, fixing and governing data and making it accessible, and growing our analytics talent and capabilities.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with data management standards and practices, and leading Data Governance programs
- 5+ years in management/executive role
- Strong leadership experience working in an enterprise or cross-functional role
- Strong interpersonal and communication/persuasion skills
- Proven project management leadership
- Experience in performance management metrics
- Demonstrable ability to coordinate cross functional teams of business, IT and other key stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Establish the governance and quality standards for the organization’s data management and ensures compliance across the organization
- Work with data strategy, legal/privacy, and function/market teams to establish and maintain data policies and standards that enable use-cases and ensure legal/ethical compliance
- Define data management operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement) in accordance with policies and standards, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities
- Develop a road map for platforms, processes, and tools needed to effectively handle data company-wide
- Monitor and measure compliance to standards and processes
- Stay ahead of data governance best practices and adapt to emerging technologies and policies and continuously improve the data governance strategy
- Conduct training sessions with the data stewards on the policy, standards and processes
- Support the VP Data & Analytics with communication of key governance priorities and successes across the enterprise as needed
