Job Description

 
As a member of McDonald’s Global Data & Analytics Platform - Architecture Team, this individual will be working on IoT, Machine Learning and AI Architecture for strategic and customer-driven initiatives. We need a collaborative and self-directed individual who, in partnership with other domain Architects and project teams, will engage customers and stakeholders to clarify expectations, apply relevant standards and best-practices, and drive the delivery of data and analytics solutions. The successful candidate knows how to balance a strong results-orientation with continuous improvement providing a reliable and stable solutions.

Responsibilities

· Architect end-to-end data and analytics solutions for IoT, cloud and AI solutions
· Define and design edge solutions that support data ingestion, capture, storage and processing to derive insights
· Create an overall Machine learning, AI and IoT ecosystem engagement strategy.
· Define machine learning algorithms and models to support edge analytics using both real-time and batch data
· Partner with restaurant operational team, innovation team and enterprise architecture to define and create data and analytics solutions on emerging technologies.
· Guide business and technical decision makers on creating business value through Architecture Design Sessions, Workshops, and Proof of Concepts
· Review and sign-off on architecture and design from other architects in the team
· Embrace and focus on emerging technology and evangelize to the rest of the team

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field IS REQUIRED.
· 5+ years of experience as a solutions architect (or equivalent) in the area of data transformation, warehousing and analytics
· 5+ years of experience in either AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
· 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning including Deep learning. One or more of AI domains: Computer vision, NLP, intelligent agents
· 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: R or Python, Spark ML, Cognitive Services, Tensorflow, MXNET in either AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
