What You’ll Do:

The Junior Business Analyst will be tasked with supporting the business development and consulting efforts at CarrierDirect. This individual supports completion of assigned work streams related to our sales and consulting optimization, and will drive on internal process improvements identified by senior leaders.

Responsibilities:

Day to Day:

• Prospect new business opportunities for CarrierDirect by:

      Identifying organizations that are proper fit for offerings

      Researching companies and identifying key contacts within organizations

      Leveraging CarrierDirect’s industry contacts for reach out

      Prioritize companies and own the reach out and drive toward closing

Identify opportunities within the travel calendars of the Executive Leadership, Consulting, Strategy and Business Development teams to optimize travel time for maximum efficiency of both client management and business development.

Assist on content development and creation for marketing and positioning CarrierDirect as a thought leader within the industry by running point on content creation, and engaging internal CarrierDirect resources at all levels of the organization to accomplish goals for content.   

Schedule and reach out on behalf of individuals within CarrierDirect.

Assist the consulting team in working with clients to understand how their business processes work today, identifying areas for improvement, and identify and execute on viable solutions for the future of the business.

Comprehensive:

• Own and drive CarrierDirect’s business development efforts

• Be the point person between Executive Leadership, Consulting, Strategy and Business Development Teams to ensure maximization of the internal CarrierDirect resources and grow CarrierDirect Business opportunities

• Assist and contribute to client engagements where you’ll provide support for analyzing current business processes, communicating recommendations, and executing on suggested changes

• Gathering, analyzing client and industry related data and information

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or Management Information Systems required

• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize high impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward

• Ability to simultaneously work independently and within a team culture

• 0-2 years in a management consulting or sales role

Preferred:

• Demonstrated experience in problem modeling, analysis, and solving

• Proven ability to add value across multiple project delivery teams

Other:

• Travel up to 25%
