Job Description
As the Business Analyst Lead of Salesforce, you are a key member of Motorola Solutions IT team that supports the company’s Global Sales, Systems Integration, and Marketing divisions. You will be responsible for partnering with the North America Sales stakeholders, for understanding and aligning on priorities requiring information technology effort. You will work with a cross-functional team of Business Analysts / Business System Analysts and manage IT initiative discussions, build capability roadmaps, understand business requirements, align on outcomes, and implement projects.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Act as the IT point of contact for the North America Sales team and manage the demand pipeline.
Participate and lead meetings with stakeholders to ensure understanding of roadmaps, priorities, schedules, organizational constraints, etc.
Drive results across a broad spectrum of requests, daily ad-hoc issues, tactical, projects, and strategic initiatives.
Lead business readiness and deployment activities for new IT project launches and deployments.
Bring outside in perspective and provide solutions that can be built on the Salesforce platform.
Lead business analysis and solution design sessions with business partners, system integration suppliers, and other IT teams, helping to translate requirements/ business rules into detailed technical specifications.
Summarize technical designs and changes to a non-technical audience while providing direction to the delivery team.
Manage vendors and consultants as necessary.
Understand and advocate best practices. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills
8+ years of experience with business analysis, technical architecture, development, release management and web development methodologies
Good understanding of the Sales applications/platforms and industry leading solutions
Experience in Agile Scrum, Product owner, or equivalent, certifications with leading organizations (e.g., ScrumAlliance, SAFe, etc.) are preferred but not required
Strong partnership skills - must be able to develop and build relationships at all levels of the organization based on trust, transparency, and by delivering on commitments.
Experience in managing IT projects and programs
Experience with Salesforce platform, project management, and sales technology applications.
Self-directed; able to identify and set priorities, and adjust accordingly as the situation unfolds.
Comfortable working across a wide spectrum of tasks; from tracking down a Service Desk incident to assisting with a project-related activity to working with a senior IT leader on a roadmap or portfolio of projects.
Ability to create technical documentation (including design/architectural diagrams, requirements, designs, and high-level business solutions).
Ability to articulate ideas clearly to both technical teams and to business partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability
Experience in documenting and maintaining up to date Process documentation

The preferred location for this position is Chicago, IL but we are open to remote anywhere in the US
Basic Requirements
Bachelor or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business from an accredited university. Advanced degree / MBA is a plus.
8+ years of experience with business analysis
