What will your day look like?
You will support the day-to-day and operational activities to ensure the effective execution of secondary loan market transactions. Work requires timely analytics, communications and reporting necessary to administer a large diversified portfolio of sold and purchased loans. Primary functions include the following but is not limited to (i) conducting asset valuations to facilitate pricing decisions; (ii) providing investor support and analytics; (iii) maintaining and enhancing tracking, reporting, and analysis tools; and (iv) coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires approximately 15% travel.
Responsibilities
Do you see yourself doing this?
- Prepare marketing and portfolio performance and characteristics for internal and external use, including attribution analysis, “product sheets” and other ad hoc reports
- Effectively distribute all reporting documents including monthly investor reports and remittances, notices and ad hoc reporting and correspondence
- Conduct best execution analysis for purchased or sold consumer, commercial and residential loans
- Track completed transactions and author internal summary reports
- Review transactions and related documents and verify work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures
- Monitor market and industry trends including in-depth investor, industry, asset, and competitor research and summarize such in a concise and readily understandable report for the benefit of senior leadership
Qualifications
What makes you a great fit?
You’ll be a great fit if in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar quantitative discipline and 1 or more years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Investment or Fund Management, capital markets, or banking industry and you have:
- Experience with secondary market transactions, quantitative modeling and consumer lending preferred
- Knowledge of the secondary market including relevant regulations, the economic environment, market trends, and the financial markets
- Strong technical skills, including accounting and asset valuation/pricing modeling
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
- Experience with Bloomberg highly desired
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks while delivering high quality results
