Global Technology (U.S.) has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Hardware Deployment team supporting our 14,000+ US restaurants. This team provides two key IT functions. The first is overseeing the selection, development & certification of all technology hardware and Operating Systems (OS) to support existing and future initiatives in the US restaurants. The second is to develop and plan a long-term hardware strategy that improves deployment and hardware/infrastructure capabilities focusing on performance, reliability and security. The successful candidate has knowledge of hardware, strong project management skills and thrives in a multifaceted, fast paced environment handling multiple high-profile initiatives with contending priorities and many stakeholders.
As a BI/Analytics Manager on our Digital Experience Analytics team, you will design and develop reports that drive daily business decisions. You should have a keen interest in combining data from multiple sources to create reporting, help drive decisions, and be passionate about breaking down complex business problems and providing well-design data visualization & analytical solutions that makes a significant impact!
Our Tableau Business Intelligence (BI) developer will create data visualization solutions to improve processes. This job involves tasks such as creating Tableau dashboard reports, working with the business team and developers, crafting business intelligence reports and visualizations, and attending feedback sessions to improve reports.
Must be able to support transformational efforts to create the next generation data delivery solutions. Must have a proven background in visual data delivery, interactive design and SQL with a passion for excellence. The candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, coordinating and developing highly interactive dashboards with built-in guided analytics for various lines of business using shared infrastructure.
Job Description
- Create dashboards and reports within Tableau based on written requirements
- Design, build, and deploy proof of concept solutions and create advanced BI visualization
- Ability to interact with business users and understand their requirements
- Thought partner on helping driving key KPIs and dashboards that align with business outcomes
- Develop impactful presentations and documents that provide a logical narrative
- Communicate complex topics to team through both written and oral communications
- Ensure data is stored effectively and provide the ability to maintain the data analytics platform, so that data can optimally be mined for information at a later date
- Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the effects and tackle any issues that arise
- Evaluate and improve existing systems that are in place as well as collaborating with teams within the business to integrate these new systems to streamline workflows
- Develop and update user documentation for senior leaders and colleagues to serve as a reference guide
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of meaningful work experience in a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, business, or other field with a quantitative component is required; Master’s degree preferred
- Expertise with SQL and Alteryx is required
- Experience in SAS, R, Python, or other programming language required
- Experience with Tableau or other similar visualization tool
- Along with technical skills candidate should have knowledge of one or more business areas (eCommerce, Marketing, Finance, Payments, etc.).
- Experience with Agile, Lean, Six Sigma and/or proven process improvement expertise a plus
- Knowledge of AWS or HADOOP is a plus
- Ability to leverage critical thinking and analytical skills to improve business outcomes
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of retail/QSR industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to set priorities and mentor others in a performance driven environment
- Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and various levels of management, demonstrate influencing skills
