Purpose:

In this role you’ll join a centralized internal consulting team that partners with marketing, sales, product development, and strategic planning, among other teams to bring a data-driven approach to Pampered Chef’s biggest strategic opportunities. We help our cross-functional stakeholders develop analytical insights that inform decision making while advancing the organization’s overall analytical capabilities. Your work will play a critical role in shaping strategy across the business as you develop both your strategic thinking and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with internal stakeholders to design and execute custom analysis to address specific opportunities; examples of this work could include decomposing key business drivers, identifying sales consultant productivity drivers, identifying opportunities to impact revenue per customer, pricing optimization, and assessing marketing/promotional effectiveness
• Own full project lifecycle beginning with setting project scoping and determining the analytical approach to building the necessary datasets and identifying/articulating insights and recommendations
• Ensure that all projects have clear business objectives from the start and that output drives actionability
• Partner with team leaders to articulate and implement the analytics roadmap that will advance our organization’s analytical capabilities
• Help to mentor and coach a team of analysts

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with focus in economics, analytics, statistics, business or related field
• 5+ years of experience
• Capable of working independently as an analytics subject-matter expert
• Can mentor analysts in analytical skills and strategic thinking
• Hands-on experience working with complex data
• Experience with tools like R, SQL, SAS, or Python
