Home Chef is looking for a Non Food Supply Chain Business Analyst at its corporate headquarters in Chicago. This person will use analytical and in person problem solving tools to identify opportunities, quantify solution impact, help deliver solutions and monitor impact on financial and operational metrics. The Non Food Supply Chain Business Analyst will report to the Director of Non Food Supply Chain.
Responsibilities
- Develop KPIs, metrics and reports to monitor performance of the Non-Food supply chain and identify opportunities to improve processes
- Design and perform analytics to better understand TCO, and cost benefit analysis for solutions
- Build impact and financial models to size opportunities, working comfortably with large data sets and top-down assumptions
- Build tactical tools for the supply chain team to use in a variety of contexts (e.g., ordering models, labor scheduling, scorecarding, production tracking)Create presentations to communicate projects to C-suite and training materials to roll-out new initiatives throughout the organization
- Gather and document requirements for Operations solutions. This will include interviews and workshops with users as well as observations and shadowing users on the shop floor
- Maintain project pipeline and manage pipeline workflow
- Track and issue weekly pipeline scorecard Own and improve upon select team tools Lead competitive intelligence benchmarking and drive research into innovation opportunities and supply chain packaged solutions
- Perform ad-hoc analyses on product development and piloting (e.g., customer experience surveys)Conduct User Acceptance Testing for delivered solutionsDocument process SOPs for newly developed solutions
- Provide initial support and bug identification and resolution
Qualifications
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Ability to learn quickly with willingness to dive deeper into technology including basic SQL
- Knowing a programming language (even at a beginner level) will be a plus
- Documentation skills using MS Word, Powerpoint (or Google equivalents)
- Mastery of spreadsheet usage (excel, google sheets)Ability to develop wireframes and prototypes using google sheets will be a plus
- Strong ability to multi-task and flexibly switch between tasks
- Strong sense for numbers in a business context
- Excellent process management
- Willingness to travel to Home Chef sites (~20%)
- Undergraduate degree
