Geneva Trading is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our growing Options team in Chicago, IL.  This individual will work closely with Traders and outside vendors. Our ideal candidate has solid technology and relationship building skills with an innate desire to take on additional responsibilities and grow with the team over time. This is the perfect opportunity for a positive, entrepreneurial individual to gain experience in the trading industry.

• Daily trading reconciliations, eventually streamlining and automating existing processes
• Managing external vendor relationships
• Sending detailed reconciliation reports to accounting
• Dealing with ad hoc requests from traders on a day-to-day basis
• Liaising with internal trading teams and departments to gain knowledge of our proprietary systems

What You'll Need 
 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and/or with other programming languages such as Python and R
• 0-2 years of experience in the financial services is a plus but not required
• Enjoys solving problems and works well independently and/or in small teams
• Prefers working in a fast-paced environment while being able to take on multiple projects
• Eager to learn new concepts quickly
• Proactive personality and goal-oriented
