The U.S. Pricing & Value Strategy team provides thought leadership, business intelligence and actionable insights to support the company’s key growth platforms. It is a high-profile, high-performing team that interacts frequently with senior leadership and various regional leadership stakeholders. The U.S. Pricing & Value Strategy team is looking for an experienced Pricing Strategy & Analytics Manager.
The Pricing Strategy & Analytics Manager will be expected to provide actionable business analysis, insights, and foresight to understand and drive performance of the business. You will lead pricing analytics and shape pricing strategy, architecture, planning and recommendations both nationally and regionally.
A successful manager candidate is an active problem solver - someone who has the natural curiosity to understand business performance drivers through utilizing large datasets, integrating various information sources and applying analytical skills in developing strategies and recommendations. At the same time, the candidate needs to be able to effectively communicate the results through story -telling and visualization. Lastly, the candidate needs to be able to support and lead pricing research studies and lead pricing tests to inform longer term pricing strategy.
Accounting/Finance
Key Accountabilities:
- Build business cases and build awareness of pricing decisions across the system
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal manners on relevant analysis
- Shape pricing strategy, architecture and the planning process both nationally and regionally
- Identify key strategies and size pricing opportunities for long term strategic planning
- Find opportunities for pricing focused research and lead consumer research studies related to pricing
- Support & manage the relationship with our specific price maintenance vendors.
- Develop and communicate pricing recommendations for new products and test products
- Demonstrate pricing tools and analysis of trends and opportunities and facilitate pricing meetings with key partners when needed

- Analytic Insight: Capability and experience analyzing large amounts of data using multiple data sources, develop analysis templates/tools and synthesize various findings into actionable recommendations
- Ability to frame business opportunities and develop clear, concise and compelling executive-ready communications to various audience groups with minimal guidance
Qualifications Required:
- MBA or Masters in Finance, Economics, Math
- 3+ years in consulting, client services and/or pricing advisory or strategy
- A strategic thinker who is dedicated to providing valuable insights and strong leadership skills
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience in working with analytical teams and translating outputs into actionable insights
- Knowledge of pricing and promotion dynamics, multi-tier pricing environment, long term impact of pricing decisions
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Experience working with Tableau and/or other data visualization
Qualifications Preferred:
- Deep understanding of the restaurant industry (QSR), competitors, and market dynamics
- 2+ years of management consulting experience
- Experience working in SQL, Alteryx or other data management and Business Intelligence tools
- Experience with predictive modeling in SAS, Python, R or other
