We are seeking an Python Developer to become an integral part of our team! You will develop and code for a Big Data product for Insurance Underwriting.

Please note that DataCubes will not be sponsoring work visa applications. The applicant should be authorized to work in the U.S

Requirement:

• 2-3 years of experience in Python.
• Thorough understanding of Python basic concepts like Lists, Strings, Indexing, Slicing, Tuples and Dictionaries.
• Advanced topics like iterators, generators, dynamic code execution, regular expressions in Python.
• Work with various web-based software development tools (GitHub, JIRA, Amazon Web Services)
• Knowledge of big data environments is desired, using Python libraries
• Experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures.
• Knowledge in scrum-based, agile development life cycle.
• Web scraping and crawling using python is prefered not mandatory
• Analytical, problem solving, creative thinking are desired

• College degree in related technical or business area, specialized training and/or equivalent work experience
• Solid application design, development, and testing work experience
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional technology requirements
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently
