Upwork is looking for an Analyst to help scale our Sales Operations team. You will be part of the Finance team and will work closely with our Sales Operations Manager to provide optimization support & recommendations for our dynamic business needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive action: build a strong internal network of experts and resources within Sales, Marketing, and Finance that can help drive effective change.
  • Help package and position recommendations to sales management through a balance of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Equip the sales team with the right sales processes, tools, and territories with on-going training and support.
  • Improve team performance and funnel conversion: help develop KPIs and metrics, dedicatedly review and identify lead and lag indicators.
  • Support and enable the sales team to scale, close and expand deals more efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the demand generation team to ensure a strong pipeline of inbound leads.
  • Help manage areas of core operations: data management, sales forecasting, CRM data integrity, reporting & dashboards.
  • Seamlessly organize, visualize, and analyze raw data sets and highlight key takeaways.

What It Will Take:

  • Creative problem-solver who thrives on challenges in fast-paced environments
  • Can juggle multiple projects, fulfill priorities and meet deadlines
  • Eager and willing to learn all facets of a business operations team
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
  • Be a data junkie that is technical, analytical, and detail oriented
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills. Strong understanding of Excel & SQL

How to really knock our socks off:

  • Experience in consulting, finance, analytics, or sales operations a plus
  • BI tool experience (Domo specifically)
  • Fundamental understanding of subscription based businesses
  • Understanding of Enterprise Sales business models
  • Solid experience with Salesforce.com
