Summary of Responsibilities:
The Senior Analyst New Product Development is responsible for owning deli and retail new product launches, and evolving and innovating within the category to increase sales and better meet customer needs.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Project Implementation:
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders from Culinary, Production, Finance and Marketing to drive projects towards implementation and success
- Lead working groups to consolidate all required inputs for the stage gate process, and packaging all pieces into an accurate and compelling narrative
- Identify suppliers, negotiate pricing, arrange logistics and work on packaging solutions for existing and new products
- Product Evaluation:
- Gather information on costs and potential savings / benefits to project
- Collaborate with Consumer Insights to gather customer learnings relevant to existing and future products
- Compile information to deliver complete financial analysis of complex projects to inform strategy recommendations
- Deli / Retail Strategy:
- Use industry resources and supplier interactions to better understand market landscape
- Understand best practices for a given industry or supply chain practice to help inform project strategy
- Collaborate with Consumer Insights to conduct competitive landscape research to shape product development

- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Excellent communication skills, experience working with cross-functional partners and a range of stakeholders
- 1-3 years experience in a fast-paced professional work environment.
- Retail or CPG experience a plus.
- Extremely detail oriented with information, communication and follow through
- Self-starter and resourceful problem solver, proactively searching for solutions
- Strong prioritization and project management skills with keen ability to manage several projects and responsibilities at once
- Skilled at dealing with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment
- No ego team player excited to solve a wide range of challenges
- Curious learner who is eager to grow and own new areas of expertise as our business grows into uncharted territories
- Culinary, food and retail experience preferred
- Four year degree in a related field.
