Job Description:
The Senior BTA position will be based in our headquarters in Chicago, IL
Domain Knowledge
- Possesses the technical knowledge, including definitions, business glossary and business rules of all McDonald's Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) metrics and measurement standards, with a clear understanding of the upstream and downstream system impact of the CSAT data.
- Maintain a collection of analytics and reports built on CSAT data, evaluate current and future data needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Under limited supervision, assist product manager to develop and drive vision and strategy for CSAT and update roadmap for short term and long-term key deliverables.
- Collaborate with Global Insights, RSG and CSAT vendors to drive Customer Satisfaction Survey data onboarding, validation and on-going support.
- Work with GDW support and Data Management teams to design and apply data quality framework, measure data quality and monitor DQ progress over time.
- Work with Market leads and CSAT vendors to investigate and resolve CSAT data issues.
- Partner with Global Insights and CSAT vendor teams to be informed on CSAT changes and assess impact on CSAT metrics.
- Utilize cross-organization collaboration across multiple business areas and team boundaries to share common infrastructure and functional capabilities and identify new data opportunities and requirements.
- Work closely with peer D&A product managers and data analysts across the restaurant data platform and domain areas to prioritize initiatives, share insights on customer demands, find opportunities for teamwork, and coordinate product development and delivery.
- Actively communicate the business needs in a manner which connects the teams to the value of the work they are delivering.
- Work proactively to ensure restaurant data products are highly reliable, scalable, and cost effective.
What you need:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or Technology
- 3-5+ years' experience in data quality, business intelligence, analysis and reporting projects
- Proficient in using SQL for querying and reporting data from relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with various Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- General understanding of Big Data Concepts and Cloud Computing is encouraged.
- Experience with drafting requirements for system-to-system integrations
- Excellent decision-making and presentation skills, with the ability to interface directly with multiple business units including technology, operations, and marketing teams.
- Strong ability to communicate, as well as collaborate, with engineers, project managers, corporate leadership, and partners.
- Experience driving an improved customer experience as well as improving operations.
- A deep understanding of the software development process; Enterprise or software development experience a plus.
- Broad experience across the IT SDLC including development, deployment and support, as well as multidisciplinary expertise in financial, vendor management, communications and driving results in a global organization.
- A self-starter with a strong bias for action; Proven track record of "getting things done" and ability to thrive in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Customer-centric mentality with a passion for discovering consumer behavior, trends, and opportunities for innovation.
- Unparalleled attention to detail, multitasking and organizational capacity.
- Strong process and problem-solving proficiency
- Display organizational and emotional intelligence.
- Experience with Atlassian products (eg. JIRA, Service Desk and Confluence) is preferred.
