Department OverviewMotorola’s Software Enterprise organization is a fast-paced organization at the front line of driving growth throughout Motorola Solutions. The Launch and Sales Enablement team is chartered to define and drive the implementation of our growth strategies across the Software Enterprise portfolio. In addition to partnering with Software Enterprise employees, we also work with all functions of the company, including sales, CTO, corporate strategy, MSI ventures, and corporate development.
Job Description
Summary of role:
The Sales Enablement Strategist enables Motorola's Software Enterprise Sales organization to achieve sales, profit, and business objectives by enabling sales leaders to drive sales plans, increase pipeline, identify cross-sell campaigns, and align customer success metrics to key opportunities as we expand the end to end suite in our customers operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Install Base Analytics / Management: Track and maintain sales performance by Software Enterprise offering including market share, growth/trends, win performance, suite sales performance, and competition
- Data Integrity / Visualization: Leverage analytical tools/analysis (customer ID, Install base / CAPP) to improve CRM data integrity and decision making and effectively visualize opportunities to enable growth
- Lead Generation / Campaign Management:
- Partner with sales leaders to identify, develop, and drive cross-sell campaigns to more effectively drive lead generation and synergies across the suite
- Track and drive lead generation source ID, assignment and follow through performance
- Sales Enablement Strategy: Work with marketing and portfolio leaders to ensure high-value initiatives have proper sales enablement assets and training. Assist with developing the business case for development as necessary. An example would be the LexisNexis Analytics Plus launch and red thread integration with RMS.
- Promote Business Best Practice: Assist in identifying and documenting best practices for sales enablement and effectiveness. Coordinate with other teams to develop training, communications, and change management activities to deploy best practice
- Customer Success Alignment: Work closely with the Customer Success Management team(CSM) to assist in prioritizing resources and referenceability linked to key pipeline opportunities. Coordinate with CSM and Marketing to develop customer reference lists and case study development.
- Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with sales management, product management, marketing, training, sales operations, and other key business partners.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- Proficiency in business analytics/tools (Tableau a plus)
- Proficiency in sales processes and systems (Salesforce a plus)
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Independent, proactive, and hard-working
- Collaborative and diplomatic
- Six Sigma belt certification a plus
Basic Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant business experience
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
