Sr. Analytics Manager, Rental Screening

- The Sr. Manager is an integral part of TransUnion Rental Screening Solution’s efforts in providing innovative approaches to assess tenant risk leveraging TransUnion’s extensive data assets. You will have an opportunity to contribute to new revenue growth in the resident lifecycle with innovative analytical models and solutions.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, engineering, economics, or related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in credit policy, new account underwriting, credit risk management or equivalent training and experience in the financial services industry.
- Must have knowledge of processes involved in development of statistical models (decision trees, scorecards, etc.) that can be used to predict tenant or financial services customer behavior.
- Extensive knowledge of R and SQL programming
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects
We’d love to see:
- Masters/PhD degree preferred.
- Funtional/ departmental management experience
Impact you’ll make:
- Develop and own TransUnion’s roadmap for rental screening analytics, by engaging with property managers, designing and preparing a variety of management reports, developing solutions and leading a team of analysts
- Deliver analytic insights and recommendations in succinct and compelling presentations for external customers, internal partners and an executive audience
- Frame risk management policies to optimize approval rates within acceptable credit risk parameters and recommend credit policy changes to property managers in response to changes in market and economic environment and assists with implementation
- Generate periodic reports for customers about recommended credit policy changes and their impact
- Responsible for securing internal and external data assets needed for performing analytics
- Proposing new ideas and testing them through appropriate champion / challenger techniques
