Sr Associate, Risk Analytics & Monitoring
The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department identifies, measures, monitors, manages, and reports risks and exposures across the organization through the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (RMF), and specifically through several risk initiatives and programs, including but not limited to risk reporting and data analytics, development of KRIs/KPIs, and organizational training.
In concert with the broader ERM team as well as other key OCC stakeholders/functions, such as Compliance and Internal Audit the Senior Associate will be responsible for:
- Assist ERM’s Governance, Analytics and Monitoring Team with implementing, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on the adequacy and effectiveness of OCC’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) across business areas.
- Develop a strong understanding of OCC’s RMF to assist business units with governance issues and concerns.
- Verify, analyze, and monitor key performance, risk, and control indicators to support management and board-level reporting across business units.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of reports and metrics to evaluate the performance of the ERM program.
- Assist with the drafting and maintenance of ERM’s policies and procedures.
- Track and communicate identified audit and exam issues as well as business area self-identified issues and findings to the ERM Management Team
- Develop ERM reports, as well as other ad hoc and regularly occurring reports.
- Assist with the development of user interfaces for analyzing data, executing monitoring activities, and reporting.
- Assist with the development of the dynamic ERM Risk Assessment including hands on experience with BI tools and building dashboards.
- Support management with special projects and other duties as assigned.

- Understanding of securities/derivatives markets and risk management preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience using lookups, and pivot tables.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Access required.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including ability to clearly explain deliverables/results to non-technical audiences, required.
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig preferred.
- Experience with Archer eGRC system preferred.
- Experience with common data science toolkits and with data visualization tools preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of BI tools (like Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView) a plus
- 1-3 years of financial risk experience, preferably in an audit, compliance, risk, or related consulting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
