Sr. Corporate Systems Data Analyst

Requirement:
- 2+ years of relevant working experience in a highly analytical, cross-functional, fast paced and collaborative environment
- Previous experience in building real time dashboards, communicate analytical results to multitude level of audience, perform various daily, weekly, and monthly technology reports, and made recommendations to senior leadership on efficiency improvements
- Advanced proficiency with one or more statistical programming languages such as R or SAS; other tools include Tableau and Jaspersoft, and Microsoft Office suite include advance Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology and other related fields
- Strong time management, project management, and organization skills with the ability to balance multiple major deliverables with competing deadlines

Preferred requirement:
- Experience with big data platforms (e.g. IBM Netezza, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark) preferred
- Highly analytical mindset with the curiosity to dig deeper into data, trends and consumer behavior
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the capability to describe analytic ideas, requirements, processes and findings in non-technical terms.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, and other related field is a nice plus
Impact you’ll make:
As a contributing member on one of our agile development teams, you will have both the accountability and freedom to build the systems that are taking TransUnion to the next level. Success in this role requires a blend of skills in big data methodologies, high-performance computing, database management, and/or data integration tools. You will play a major part and influence your impact in the following ways:
- Perform various weekly and monthly technology analysis and draw insights from the following areas:
- Project delivery, quality and prioritization
- Labor effort analysis
- Compliance trends
- Global Technology risk
- Service management and technology availability
- Revenue forecasts
- Communicate analytical insights in various forms (e.g., written, verbal) clearly and concisely to senior leadership
- Partner with internal customers to delivery reporting requests and/or provide demos/walkthroughs of self-service database features as needed
- Utilize analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Jaspersoft) draw out meaningful actions for improving delivery, quality and efficiency
- Partner within various Global Technology areas, including Communications, Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC), Finance, Project Management Office (PMO) and others to support GT strategy and initiatives
- Track Global Technology enterprise-wide performance against goals, and act as the “single source of truth” in calculation and communication of key performance indicators
- Continuously innovate on the analytical solutions to make analysis as real time as possible and meaningful to drive action
