Job description:
Echo isin the midst oftransforming the transportation and logistics industry. Core to that is the "digitization" of many operations.TheData Scientistwithin the Strategic Analytics group at Echo is responsible for turning the vast amounts of internal and external data into value for the organizationand a key to driving the digital transformation. This rolewill be tasked with developing full stack data science solutions, from building raw datasetsto automation and deployment.The Data Scientist will work extensively witha SQL RDBMS, AWSS3, and other data sourcesto wrangle operational data, then leverage those data via machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling techniquesto implement production solutions.
Job requirements:
- Undergrad or graduate degree in analytics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or natural sciences such as physics or chemistry.
- 5+ years professional data science experience
- Programming in SQL, R, and Python
- Summarize and communicate complex analysesviaquality data visualization,notebooks, markdown, and Shiny.
- Deployingdata scienceusing Git,KubernetesandDocker.
- Leveraging AWS EC2 for data science
