Supply Chain Planner

Responsibilities
Perform designated supply planning activities in support of continuous supply and promotional events. Review and interpret data, develop insights and recommendations, and take appropriate actions to support execution. Collaborate both internally as well as with external stakeholders. Manage supply planning operation relative to planning, execution and post analysis of promotional items and the continuous supply of core items.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide oversight in determining the supplier production and inventory management plans as well as the distribution strategy for all promotions
- Support the promotional team with appropriate representation from Supply planning
- Manage the replenishment processes for suppliers, Distribution Centers and restaurants including issue resolution and reallocation decision processes
- Communicate plans to the client, suppliers and supply partners to ensure alignment and understanding of responsibilities and timing of plan execution
- Direct daily replenishment planning, including the identification of potential stock replenishment issues, and appropriate issue escalation
- Support root cause analysis through the creation of daily promotion status reports, and development of relevant action plans
- Develop and measure against deliverables outlined in a detailed, standardized departmental project plan and time-line
- Develop and strengthen external relationships with distribution and supplier community
- Manage and support staffs including training and development, work assignment allocation, performance feedback, and coaching
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years' experience in supply chain or related industry
- Demonstrated ability to lead others through influence without reporting authority
- Experience with supply planning tools and processes
- Experience in providing feedback and coaching
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Analytical skills and interpersonal effectiveness
Additional Preferred Experience/Certification:
- APICS Certification
- Experience with advanced supply planning software applications
