We are seeking an experienced MongoDB or MySQL Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our database systems. As a DBA, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing MongoDB or MySQL databases, ensuring their high availability, performance, and security. You will work closely with the development team to solve database-related technical issues and establish best practices to optimize database performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain the database architecture, including clusters, replica sets, and sharding
  • Monitor database performance, receive database alarms, identify and solve performance bottlenecks and failures
  • Collaborate with the development team to provide database design and optimization suggestions for new projects
  • Write automation scripts and tools to automate common database management tasks
  • Investigate and resolve database-related technical issues, provide emergency support and troubleshooting
  • Follow the latest developments and best practices of MongoDB or MySQL, continuously optimize database performance
  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of some MySQL databases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, priority in Computer Science or related field
  • More than 3 years of MongoDB (mandatory), or MySQL database management experience, familiar with MongoDB cluster deployment, performance optimization, and fault recovery
  • Familiar with Linux operating system and Python programming
  • Have good communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively cooperate with the development team to solve technical problems
  • Have self-learning ability and problem-solving ability, able to think independently and quickly adapt to new technologies and tools
