Who You’ll Be Collaborating With:

What You’ll Be Helping Achieve:

You will provide necessary services to support software applications developed and maintained by the Department of Transportation. You will leverage Agile best practices with a strong attention to customer service throughout this transition and system support.

What You’ll Be Working On:

  • Review SQL Server databases for vulnerabilities and issues

  • Resolve vulnerabilities and issues in a timely manner

  • Maintain and update DBA Guides

  • Server Issues and patches when needed along with another Admin

  • Plan for and support Disaster Recovery

  • Support other DBA with tasks and issues as required

How You’ll Excel In Your Role:

  • Knowledge of DOT IT

  • Excellent analytic skills to assess existing software implementations

  • Working in an Agile environment

  • Drive to improve existing software implementations

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in information technology or business-related discipline

  • Experience with SQL Server, Oracle Databases, Postgres, MYSQL, RDS, and Dynamo Databases

  • Proficient with AWS and Tasks related to AWS Migrations

Preferred Experience:

  • Server maintenance

  • DOT experience

  • Databricks experience

  • Microstrategy experience

  • Public Trust

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 to $150,000.

At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$75,003.00 - $155,447.00
