Our Corporate Finance division works with public and private corporations seeking access to both the debt and equity capital markets. The division delivers tailored capital raising and financing solutions to a large client base that consists of Fortune 1000 corporations as well as medium-sized companies. Whether our clients are seeking to fund growth or optimize their capital structures, we collaborate with them and determine all available options prior to implementing the optimum strategy.
The Director, Corporate Finance is responsible for leading the execution of capital markets, including equity offerings, debt financings, and strategic advisory engagements. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to drive business development, manage client relationships, and oversee the execution of complex financial transactions. The Director will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the overall growth of the Corporate Finance platform.
- Lead execution of corporate finance transactions including equity offerings, and debt issuances
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, institutional investors, and internal stakeholders
- Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and preparation of client deliverables including pitch materials and presentations
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to client pitches
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage transaction timelines across internal and external parties
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure regulatory adherence
- Provide guidance and mentorship to analysts and associates
- Monitor market trends and provide strategic insights to clients and internal teams
- Ensure accuracy and quality of all deliverables
- Exercise independent judgment in managing transaction execution and client relationships
- Influence deal strategy, pricing, and structuring decisions
- Provide leadership and oversight to junior team members
- Contribute to departmental strategy and growth initiatives
- All other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 7–10+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or capital markets
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required, (e.g., Series 79) preferred
- Proven track record of executing complex financial transactions
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, corporate finance, and financial modeling
- Deep understanding of valuation methodologies and transaction structuring
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg)
