The Deltek Vision System Support Analyst will play an integral role in our firm by providing system subject matter expertise, supporting end users, maintaining data integrity, identifying opportunities for improvement, developing documentation, and delivering training.

Successful candidates are highly self-motivated, have can-do, support service attitudes, are highly adaptable and keen problem solvers and work well independently with periodic supervision. This position requires a candidate that can combine strong organizational skills, with solid prioritization and attention to detail, demonstrate sound judgment and strong reasoning skills, as well as good analytic and problem-solving abilities. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Expertise in Deltek Vision is expected and knowledge of VantagePoint is preferred. Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated expert application knowledge of Deltek Vision and experience in system configuration, system security, issue troubleshooting, report development, and performance monitoring.
  • Customer Service approach to systems management
  • Experience providing help desk and technical support
  • Strong grasp of computer networking concepts
  • Experience managing multiple project assignments and tasks individually and with a team
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to using a rigorous approach to data quality & integrity, including validating own work and work of others
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize tasks as needed to complete within the identified time frame and/or deadline
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to quickly process information, correlate, disseminate, and make appropriate risk-based decisions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Take overall system user functionality support responsibility for the Deltek Vision instance using internal team members, vendors, and Deltek as support resources.
  • Provide Deltek Vision software functionality support and training
  • Assess user needs to provide support and proactive service, including analysis of opportunities to take advantage of available tools.
  • Improve and maintain data integrity by regularly analyzing information within the Deltek Vision modules, perform data validation and process verification to establish accuracy and consistency
  • Create and maintain proper system documentation and controls on system changes, user security updates, system functionality and procedures
  • Participate in planning, configuration, and organization of future rollouts
  • Participate in process improvements and provide additional functionalities and efficiencies
  • Function as a subject matter expert for Deltek Vision and future rollouts (VantagePoint)
  • Work collaboratively and support the Enterprise Applications Manager in managing requirements, design, development, testing, training, and deployment for various application updates and feature rollouts.
  • Provide support on systems integration as assigned.
  • Develop working knowledge of other enterprise applications including UKG and NewForma and leverage IT investment to increase effectiveness through automation.
  • Keep abreast of new developments and forecast future trends in application integration in the A/E/C industry. 

Education / Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related, or equivalent combination of education and experience with a bachelor's level degree being equivalent to 6 years of directly related experience.


Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual is required to have expertise in Deltek Vision and proficiency with SQL Server 2019.  Proficient in Excel (Formulas, Charts, VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, Formatting), basic proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.  Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, UltiPro, and Newforma preferred.
