What You’ll Do:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be an integral member of our team, collaborating closely with software developers, traders, and quantitative researchers to ensure the health and stability of the trading systems and infrastructure that power our trading activities. In this role, you will apply your systems expertise to tackle challenging problems in automation, programming, and technology.
Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and managing automation for workflows and data pipelines, and creating tools to improve system reliability. You will assist developers in troubleshooting complex issues related to programming and networking, deploy and configure applications using configuration management tools, and help manage our core infrastructure, from containerized environments to deploying and maintaining technology assets in our on-prem and co-located data centers.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years of full-time, professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar high-performance technology role.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting application, networking, and OS-level issues.
  • Strong proficiency with both Windows and Linux operating systems, comfortable in desktop and command-line environments.
  • Solid scripting skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization technologies, database administration, and observability best practices.
  • Familiarity with data formats like JSON, XML, and Parquet.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and perform under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on resolving uncertainty and collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on documentation.
  • Ability to work on-site in our Chicago office.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Must have valid, ongoing, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored or self-initiated immigration filings.

Salary Range

  • $132,000 – $177,000 a year
  • This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
