We are seeking a results-driven Manager to lead accounting advisory engagements for digital asset companies across a variety of growth stages, including venture-backed, high-growth, pre-IPO, and public companies. Managers oversee day-to-day engagement delivery, mentor Consultants, collaborate with senior client stakeholders, and serve as trusted advisors in delivering accounting advisory, finance transformation, audit readiness, and transaction support services.

 

What you might expect:

  • Lead workstreams for digital asset accounting advisory engagements, including audit readiness, technical accounting, finance transformation, IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and transaction support.
  • Manage engagements involving crypto trading activity, fragmented wallet and exchange data, digital asset reconciliations, accounting remediation, and finance function transformation.
  • Review and prepare deliverables related to digital asset activity, reconciliations, general ledger tie-outs, financial statement support, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Assist clients with accounting for digital asset transactions, realized and unrealized gains and losses, transaction fees, valuation considerations, cut-off procedures, and financial reporting.
  • Partner with client accounting, finance, operations, technology, legal, tax, and external audit teams to identify data gaps, design scalable processes, and implement practical solutions.
  • Research and document technical accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements while helping clients operationalize those conclusions.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and implementation of scalable accounting, reporting, and internal control processes.
  • Mentor Consultants by providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Participate in proposal development, client relationship management, recruiting, and business development initiatives.

 

What you must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Big 4 audit, accounting advisory, capital markets advisory, transaction advisory, and/or corporate accounting and finance, including a minimum of 2 years of experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC).
  • Experience supporting accounting advisory engagements involving audit readiness, technical accounting, finance transformation, IPO readiness, SEC reporting, transaction support, and/or public company reporting.
  • Experience leading workstreams and collaborating directly with clients, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders within a consulting, advisory, or public accounting environment.

 

What sets you apart:

  • Experience supporting digital asset, cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, broker-dealer, investment management, or other high-volume transaction businesses.
  • Experience supporting digital asset accounting, crypto transaction accounting, wallet and exchange reconciliations, accounting remediation, or finance function build-outs.
  • Experience supporting SEC reporting engagements, IPO readiness, capital markets transactions, audit coordination, or public company financial reporting.
  • Experience applying U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and technical accounting guidance related to complex transactions and emerging business models.
  • Experience supporting finance transformation initiatives, accounting process improvements, ERP implementations, or operational accounting transformations.
  • Experience leading project workstreams, mentoring junior professionals, and coordinating deliverables across multiple client priorities.

 

Nice to have:

  • CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification.
  • Experience with digital asset accounting platforms, blockchain analytics tools, ERP systems, or financial reporting technologies.
  • Experience supporting publicly traded digital asset companies or companies preparing for IPO.
  • Experience with emerging regulatory guidance impacting digital assets and cryptocurrency accounting.
