We support work-life balance through a hybrid work environment and encourage employees to work in the office two days per week, with Wednesday as an anchor day to promote connection and collaboration. Managers with direct reports are required to be onsite on Wednesdays. All employees report onsite twice per year for two consecutive days for all-staff meetings and functions. Due to these requirements, only local candidates will be considered for this position.
Location: Darien, IL | Hybrid 
Salary Range: $57,500 - $70,000 commensurate with experience
Employment: Full-time | Exempt 
Travel: Up to 10%, including weekends as required 
Position Overview 
The Digital Marketing Coordinator develops and executes campaigns that expand the AASM’s reach and engagement across social media and other digital channels. This role creates compelling content, strengthens the organization’s online presence, supports website updates, and uses analytics to evaluate and improve campaign performance. The coordinator also collaborates across departments to align digital communications with organizational goals and brand standards. 
What You’ll Do 

  • Develop and execute social media strategies that strengthen the AASM brand and grow engagement. 
  • Plan social media campaigns and events that encourage audience interaction and growth. 
  • Create and publish content for websites, blogs, e-newsletters, social media, and reels. 
  • Track and report on social media, campaign, and website performance using analytics tools. 
  • Monitor the AASM’s online reputation and use insights to improve future strategies. 
  • Update website content and build SEO-focused pages that improve visibility and engagement. 
  • Collaborate on digital advertising, podcast promotion, and emerging marketing initiatives. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience. 
  • At least two years of experience in social media, public relations, digital content, or a similar role. 
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram, and WordPress. 
  • Experience interpreting analytics and using marketing automation platforms. 
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and digital content creation skills. 
  • Ability to translate scientific and medical information for public audiences. 
  • Strong project management, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience with HubSpot. 
  • Experience in a medical or health care association. 
  • Working knowledge of Associated Press style. 
  • Experience with Adobe Express. 
  • Graphic design experience.
