The Director of Quality, Accreditation, and Education for Clinical Laboratories provides strategic, operational, and regulatory leadership to ensure that all Kelsey-Seybold laboratory services consistently deliver safe, accurate, compliant, and high value diagnostic care. This role, reporting to the Laboratory Vice-President, oversees systemwide quality management, accreditation readiness, patient safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and workforce education across waived testing sites, satellite laboratories, and the centralized testing facility. The Director partners closely with laboratory medical directors, lab administration, operations leadership, clinical teams, and system quality and safety leaders to uphold Kelsey-Seybold's commitment to coordinated, evidence based, patient centered care. This position also leads the design, implementation, and governance of data solutions, Quality Assurance / Process Improvement (QAPI) programs, and key performance indicators that drive continuous improvement across the laboratory service line.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
- Certification as MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP), or equivalent
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- 7+ years of progressive laboratory leadership experience, including quality, regulatory, or accreditation oversight
- Solid knowledge of CLIA, CAP, COLA, CMS, and other regulatory/accreditation standards
- Demonstrated success leading quality improvement initiatives in a clinical laboratory environment
- Experience with data analytics, quality measurement, and performance improvement methodologies
- Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have personally led a clinical laboratory through multiple successful accreditations
- Directly led inspections for (CAP, CLIA, CMS, COLA, or others)
- Managed a laboratory that was at risk of losing, or had lost, accreditation or designation
- Experience creating a laboratory Quality Management or QAPI program
