About the Role
As the Director of Data Partnerships, you will play a key role in building, scaling, and growing our partnership ecosystem. You’ll own the complete lifecycle of strategic partnerships, from sourcing and negotiation to go-to-market activation and ongoing maintenance. Success in this highly cross-functional role requires deep expertise in ad technology integrations, identity, and relationship management, combined with strong commercial judgement and a mindset for revenue growth.
In this role, you will:
· Identify, negotiate and close new activation partners who can help drive usage of Tunnl’s audience and measurement products
· Grow revenue with existing partners through optimized integration strategies and relationship management
· Accelerate product and platform capabilities with emerging and established data sources
· Collaborate with internal Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to structure and operationalize partnerships
· Support sales and account teams with new solutions through partnerships
· Conduct industry and competitive research to stay ahead of trends, emerging technologies, and partner innovation
· Oversee partnership deliverables, including reporting, training, and operational roadmaps
Responsibilities
Deal Structuring & Negotiation:
· Lead commercial negotiations, including revenue share structures, data licensing terms, API and platform integration agreements, and billing and usage models
· Partner with Legal to finalize contracts that balance scalability, compliance, and profitability
· Structure incentives to align long-term partner success with platform growth
Go-to-Market & Revenue Enablement:
· Collaborate with Sales and Client Experience teams to position partners effectively in market
· Partner with Marketing to develop enablement materials, training sessions, and pitch narratives
· Support joint marketing initiatives and co-selling strategies
· Track and optimize partner revenue contribution
Product & Technical Collaboration:
· Work closely with Product and Engineering to scope integrations and prioritize roadmap items
· Ensure timely and automated audience distribution to partner platforms
· Continually optimize taxonomy structure based on market feedback and partner usage
Required Qualifications
· 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances
· Direct experience working with DSP’s, SSP’s, identity ecosystems, and data marketplaces
· Strong commercial negotiation experience
· Deep understanding of digital advertising workflows (programmatic, CTV, etc.)
· Comfort navigating cross-functional organizations
· Strong analytical skills with ability to assess business impact quantitatively
· Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
· Direct sales experience with a data vendor
· Background in analytics or technical integrations
· MBA
