Build and own the GTM tech stack and integrations, create demo environments seeded with realistic data, embed AI agents into sales workflows, stand up revenue data infrastructure (pipeline, forecasting, attribution), and automate customer service flows. Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Engineering to measure adoption and impact.
TrashLab is the AI-native operating system for waste and recycling haulers across the US and Canada. We replace legacy point solutions with modern technology and AI agents that do real work in the truck, at the scale house, and on the phones. Our platform runs the full operational stack: CRM, billing, dispatch, routing, scale and recycling workflows, driver app and customer portal. Haulers use TrashLab to grow revenue and better serve their customers.
Since launching in 2023, TrashLab has scaled rapidly: live in 40+ states across hundreds of haulers and revolutionizing a $100B+ category with cutting edge technology. And our ambition goes beyond software — over time, we aim to become the financial and operational network that powers the industry. We recently completed our Series A from top-tier investors, and we're hiring a smart, ambitious team that will define what modern hauler technology will look like for the next decade. We move fast and care deeply about the operators we serve. Learn more at trashlab.com.
About the Role
We're hiring a GTM Engineer to be the force multiplier behind the entire revenue org — building the tooling, telemetry, AI agents, and demo environments that let a small, sharp team out-produce a competitor's much bigger one.
This role reports to the Head of Sales, with close partnership across Marketing and Customer Success.
You will:
- Build the GTM tech stack — HubSpot workflows, Apollo/Clay enrichment, outbound sequences, Fireflies/Gong telemetry, custom Slack alerting — and own the integrations between them.
- Design and ship custom demo environments, seeded with realistic hauler data, that AEs can spin up per prospect in minutes.
- Build AI agents into the sales workflow: pre-call account briefs, post-call summaries, proposal drafting, follow-up composition, and automated CRM hygiene — and measure adoption and impact.
- Stand up the data infrastructure for revenue: pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy tooling, attribution, and conversion analytics.
- Build customer service automation as needed: AI ticket triage, onboarding flows, and customer health and sentiment scoring.
- Partner with product engineering when a GTM problem actually needs a product change.
You are a great fit if:
- You have 4+ years in a hybrid engineering + GTM role — Sales Engineer, RevOps Engineer, Solutions Engineer, GTM Engineer, or a developer who chose revenue.
- You write code (TypeScript / Python / SQL) and build with no-code where it's faster (n8n, Make, Zapier, custom GPTs) — with strong opinions about when each is right.
- You have deep HubSpot or Salesforce admin/dev skills — you've designed CRM data models, not just clicked through them.
- You've shipped AI agents in production — sales briefs, summarization, classification, retrieval over CRM and docs.
- You think like an SE and ship like an engineer — you can sit in on a demo, identify the friction, and build the tool that removes it the next week.
Compensation
Salary is competitive with equity. Benefits include unlimited PTO, health, vision, and dental insurance, and 401k.
